bringing french premium cheeses to singapore
Monts & Terroirs, a French brand of premium Comté cheeses, approached us to create a sub-brand for their new shop in Singapore — M&T Cheeses. They wanted the new brand to feel premium, easily recognisable, and distinctly French.

The M&T monogram features a chiselled typeface, highlighting the craftsmanship behind cheese-making, with the T subtly redrawn to resemble a cheese probe. It is embedded within the brand’s signature shape, evoking both a mountain and a quarter wheel of cheese.
We collaborated with an illustrator to reinterpret Poligny, the brand’s birthplace, incorporating its mountains, cows, and trees. The illustration serves as the centrepiece of the brand, used prominently as an all-over pattern. To ensure strong differentiation in the cheese market, we chose a bright yellow as the brand’s signature colour.
